How to Make a Cappuccino

Prepared Materials

1.Coffee beans: moderate amount, usually need about 7 grams of coffee beans to make a single cappuccino.
2.Milk: Whole milk is the best, ice milk or refrigerated milk is more suitable for whipping milk froth.
3.Sugar (optional): add according to personal taste.
4.Espresso machine: Includes the main body of the coffee machine, coffee grinder, steam wand, milk tank and other accessories.

Grind Beans

1.Use an espresso grinder to grind the beans to a fineness suitable for espresso machine extraction. Be careful to take an accurate amount of powder, usually about 7 grams for a single serving.
2.Load the ground coffee powder into the powder groove of the coffee handle, and use a powder press to compact and flatten the powder with appropriate force (e.g. 30 pounds), making sure there is no loose coffee powder on the surface.

Coffee Extraction

1.Fasten the handle with the ground coffee onto the brewing head of the coffee maker, pay attention to the angle and position, avoid forcefully fastening it.
2.Press the extraction button to start extraction, pay attention to observe the flow rate of coffee, ideally 25-35 ml of espresso (Espresso) should be extracted within 20-30 seconds. If the flow rate is too fast or too slow, you may need to adjust the coarseness of the coffee powder.

Prepare The Milk

1.Pour the right amount of milk into the milk jug, usually about half a jug, depending on the size of the cup being made.
2.Refrigerate or chill the milk to a suitable temperature (e.g. 4°C), as cool milk is easier to whip froth.

Organize milk froth

1.Turn on the steam switch of the coffee maker and drain the water and condensation from the steam tube first to make sure the steam is dry.
2.Insert the steam hose into the milk, paying attention to the depth of insertion to be about 1 cm below the liquid surface.
3.Turn on the steam switch while holding the bottom of the milk cylinder with your hand and gently moving the cylinder up and down to make the milkUnder the action of steam rotation and uniform heat. Pay attention to the temperature control, 4.generally not more than 70 ° C, so as not to boil the milk or produce bad flavor.
When the milk is heated to a suitable temperature and the milk foam is fine and dense, turn off the steam switch.

Fusion & Flower Pulling

1.Pour the extracted espresso into a coffee cup.
2.Holding the milk cylinder in your hand, slowly pour the whipped milk froth into the coffee. Pay attention to the speed and angle of pouring, so that the milk froth and coffee are fully integrated.
3.You can do the pulling operation while pouring the milk froth, by shaking the milk cylinder or changing the direction and speed of pouring to create beautiful patterns. Flowering requires a certain amount of skill and practice, so beginners do not need to force themselves.

Finish & Seasoning

1.According to personal taste on the cappuccino sprinkled with the right amount of cocoa powder, cinnamon or powdered sugar and other decorations.
2.A cup of rich and delicious cappuccino is ready.
